A licensed Colorado master plumber handles the plumbing. The same team that fixes leaks, floors, and drywall builds the new bathroom. The supply lines, the drain, and the shower valve get roughed in before the walls close. Moving a drain or a valve is plumbing work, which is why the plumber is on the same team.
In a tiled shower, the waterproofing under and behind the tile is what keeps water out of the floor and walls. Tile and grout alone are not waterproof. That prep happens before the first tile goes up.
The design visit is a walk-through of the bathroom you have. We look at the tub or shower, the toilet, the vanity, the floor, and what we can already see at the walls. Then we explain what can stay, what should be replaced, and what has to be opened up. You leave with the options in plain language and one written price for that scope before any demo starts.

Remodeling a bathroom after a leak or water damage
That soft spot by the shower isn't going away on its own. A lot of remodels start because of a leak: a soft floor by the toilet, a stained ceiling below, or loose tile. The same team handles the leak, the floor, and the drywall. We find and fix the source, repair the subfloor and drywall, then build the new bathroom on a sound base.
In a Fort Collins home, a broken toilet flange was letting water through to the kitchen below. We cut in a new drain elbow, set a new flange, installed new subfloor, flooring, and a transition strip, then reinstalled the toilet and baseboards. In Loveland, a toilet was leaking and the homeowner wanted to understand the damage and agree on a repair plan before the floor came up. When the floor was opened, we removed multiple layers of old tile and found water damage underneath.
